THE WINERY “CANTINA I VINI DI MAREMMA” IS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST COOPERATIVE IN TUSCAN MAREMMA.
It was founded in 1954 near Grosseto by a group of passionate wine growers. Over the years it has been taking a more and more relevant role, leading its production to excellent levels through a constant research, cutting-edge agronomic techniques and improvement of vinification methods.
The cooperative was founded with the goal to support its member companies going through a constant improvement, thanks to a professional and cultural education, in order to have an excellent and marketable final product, in the creation of a virtuous circle that benefits both member companies and consumers.
Currently it represents one of the most important enological realities of the area, with about 230 member companies and, today as back then, it pays attention to the values of the tradition, keeping environmental sustainability as a guide line.
THE CANTINA, IN THE CONTINUOUS RESEARCH OF THE BEST QUALITY, SELECTS ITS MEMBERS’ GRAPES AND MAKES SEPARATE VINIFICATIONS, THUS OBTAINING OVER THIRTY DIFFERENT TYPES OF PRODUCTS.

WINERY
‘I Vini di Maremma’ s.a.c. put its brand on wines obtained from grapes ripen under the Tuscan Maremma sun, grown by about 300 Maremman wine growers and processed in the historical winery situated in “Il Cristo” locality.
VINEYARDS
The vineyards are located in the province of Grosseto, in the area that goes from Castiglione della Pescaia to Alberese and Capalbio along the coast, the hills and foothills, on a total surface of over 380 ha.
WINE
First and foremost among red grapes the company produces Sangiovese, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot.
Among white grapes the company produces Vermentino, Trebbiano Toscano, Ansonica and Malvasia
