Thanks to the passion and the enthusiasm of our wine growers, since 1954 the Winery ‘Cantina I Vini di Maremma’ has been taking care of a territory in which grapes give birth to an accurate selection of wines, in the very first social winery of Maremma.
OUR TRADITION WOULDN’T BE THIS GREAT IF EACH OF OUR MEMBERS HADN’T ALWAYS HAD THE COURAGE TO LOOK FORWARD.
Our lands
COAST
Flat and mostly sandy lands
INLAND
Hilly and medium-textured lands with a good percentage of clay and skeleton
NORTHERN MAREMMA
Medium-textured lands that tend to be alkaline with a good percentage of active limestone.
SOUTHERN MAREMMA
Medium-textured lands that tend to be sub-acid.
Balance between man and agriculture
The wine line “Tramonto” is dedicated to our members, who are real “Guardians of Maremma territory” and comes from the love towards this land. The grapes of which this line is made of come from all those geographic areas where the vineyards of our wine growers are located, from Capalbio to Castiglione della Pescaia, from Talamone to Roccastrada, from Massa Marittima to Montemassi and many more.
