MASSA MARITTIMA
This small medieval town is well-known all over the world for its cultural, historical and artistic riches. It has one of the most beautiful piazzas in Italy and its famous cathedral is often used for events such as the Balestro del Girifalco (Girifalco’s crossbow) and the Lirica in Piazza (Opera in the piazza).

GAVORRANO
Medieval town from where you can enjoy a fantastic view that goes from the hills to the sea. It used to be an important mining town, one of the most important in Europe for the extraction of fool’s gold. The mine has now been turned into a museum: the Natural and Mining Park of Gavorrano and the Teatro delle Rocce (Theater of Rocks). Every year in August within the historical center you can see the reenactment of the “Salto della Contessa” (the Jump of the Countess) with a historical parade that tells the story of the Senese woman Pia De Tolomei, depicted by Dante Alighieri in the fifth canto of his Purgatory (“Siena made me, Maremma undid me”).

SCARLINO
Medieval town with its castle that dominates the whole gulf of Follonica with a view that goes as far as the Elba Island.

PITIGLIANO - SOVANA
Etruscan jewels and tuff towns, with large archeological sites. Unforgettable villages.
ABBEY OF SAN GALGANO
The abbey is the most important example of cistercian gothic style in Italy.

LAKE ACCESA
It is a natural oasis. On its shores there is an archeological park.

Touristic itinerary that gives you that chance to discover wine cellars and cultural, artistic, archeological and naturalistic points of interests.

DIACCIA BOTRONA

The reserve is located in the central part of the Province of Grosseto, sea side at a distance of about 5 km as the crow flies from Grosseto. The territory is presented as the last part of the Marshes of Castiglione, initially occupied by a breast Marine (Port of the Roman Emperor Trajan), and then the lake and lagoon: the Nature Reserve includes the vast marshy area between the river Bruna and the stretch of pine forest along the way Castiglione-Marina di Grosseto, in addition to the pine forest itself.

PARCO DELLA MAREMMA

The Park covers an area of 9800 acres and stretches along the coast from the village of Principina a Mare (town of Grosseto), to the country of Telamon (town of Orbetello). In its territory last fall wetlands near the mouth dell'Ombrone, which are rich in wild life and yet, host large colonies of wading birds. Further south, the area is composed of mountains dell'Uccellina covered by a thick Mediterranean and east, at the foot of the mountains, vast grasslands, where lies the Farm Spergolaia company's regional administrative center and home of the cowboys.
